  Notes	Leonora Parrin was born 10th January 1856 in Islington, she married William Charles Willis in 1876 at Islington Register Office. The surname was Willes before that but it changed during that generation to be spelt as Willis. Leonora had 9 children, Thomas, Steve, Mary Ann, Alfred, Alice, Robert, Peter, George and Daisy. Her son Alfred John Willis (known as Jack) was the father of Lord Ted Willis the playwright, although you wouldn't know that if you just went by the information found on certificates as Alfred John Willis ran away from home when he was 12 so he gave a different father's name on his marriage certificate. Leonora is mentioned quite a lot in Ted Willis' biography, Who's afraid of Tom Mix, she sounds quite a character, she lived with his family for a while. She was sent to Holloway Prison for six weeks over the Christmas period for assaulting a police officer, she had gone for him with a bottle. She was so bad inside prison that they didn't give her any chocolate with her Christmas dinner, and they kept her in for her full sentence instead of letting her out after four weeks which was usual.
