Under construction on 01.04.1918 as an Aircraft Acceptance Park and No. 7 (N.W.) Aircraft Repair Depot. Later in 1918 became the Observers School of Reconnaisance and Aerial Photography (RE.8, DH.9). Harrowby, Lincolnshire Ernest could not fly as he wasn't fit enough due to having whooping cough as a baby, this left him with a weak chest. He belonged to the Unity of Oddfellows, and he won several silver medals for playing whist. Ernest was a poet.
